QHSE Manager


QHSE Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSSE) Management System, providing guidance to the region, and supporting all company departments.

  • To develop a clear understanding of legal, regulatory and regional policies in relation to QHSE requirements and maintain required compliance
  • Monitor client QHSE requirements and maintain required compliance
  • Monitor and review non-comformance system trends
  • Identify and address gaps within the QHSE management system through audits and QHSE system analysis
  • Maintain and review all aspects of the Risk Management system, including the Quality & HSE Risk Registers and associated processes
  • To foster an inclusive and leadership based QHSE culture within the region. Supporting and advising leaders with all QHSE matters
  • Participate in internal/external audits and coordinate follow up
  • Develop the annual internal audit plans to insure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and deliver QHSE related training
  • Coordinate incident/accident/injury investigations and lead investigation
  • Assist Line Managers, ensuring that the Training & Competency module in IFS is maintained for Far East personnel. I.e. New certification updated in the system, gaps identified, training booked to close out gaps.
  • Managing the regional 'working' visa process, including application and expiry of visas. Have a full understanding of regional visa requirements.


  • Act as focal point for client and certification audits
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through individual commitment to OHSE policies Advise and assist management on OHSE matters
  • Approval and Closing of OHSE cases using company Non-conformities system
  • Facilitate Authority, Clients and Certification audits
  • Review Quality and HSE segments of client contracts, provide GAP analysis and bridge COMPANY systems to client systems, developing new procedures when necessary
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are distributed to all employees
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Chartered Quality Institute Qualifications would be desirable
  • Audit training (IRCA/IATCA approved)
  • Safety training qualification e.g. NEBOSH
  • Knowledge of HSE local regulations and standards
  • Knowledge of Quality standards, including ISO 9001 and API-Q2
  • Wide experience in HSE and Quality work
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Strong personal leadership
